JAKE MADDOX

Owner and co-founder of Strength & Performance Fitness.

 

Hi, I’m Jake. I’ve been competing in CrossFit competitions for over four years now, and during that time, I’ve learned more than just how to train hard — I’ve learned how to lead, motivate, and bring the best out of those around me. Every competition and class has pushed me to new limits, both physically and mentally, shaping who I am as an athlete and a coach.

At Strength & Performance, I bring that same energy and commitment into every session. I believe in creating a positive, high-energy environment where people of all fitness levels can challenge themselves, build confidence, and support each other. My journey has taught me that success in fitness isn’t just about lifting heavier or moving faster — it’s about consistency, mindset, and being part of a community that lifts each other up.

Hi, I’m Lauren. I’ve been coaching for nearly four years now, and it’s easily the most rewarding job I’ve ever had. There’s nothing better than seeing people grow, gain confidence, and hit goals they never thought possible.

Over the past few years, I’ve competed in several HYROX and CrossFit competitions—each one testing my limits and shaping my own fitness journey. These experiences have influenced my coaching style and deepened my belief in what we’re capable of when we embrace challenge. One thing I’ve learned? Discipline in the gym creates discipline in life. I’m passionate about making fitness accessible to everyone—regardless of age, experience, gender, or ability. Whether you’re new to training or chasing big performance goals, you deserve to feel supported every step of the way.

At Strength & Performance, we’re more than just a gym—we’re a community. I want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, safe, and empowered—whether you’re attending a class, private group, or 1-1 personal training. Because with the right people around you, there’s nothing you can’t achieve.

Saturday: 7.30-10.15am

Sunday: 8.30-9.30am

Our opening times are when our classes are running. We are not offering use of an open gym.
